The Production Supervisor is responsible for carrying out the production of protein meal, an ingredient in dry pet foods, at an Integrated Proteins facility. Aspects of production include obtaining samples, conducting inspections on dry vans and bulk hopper trailers, loading and unloading bulk and toted products, and cleaning and maintaining production equipment. The individual in this position is able to perform all functions at the plant in an accurate and efficient manner: Unloader, Loader, Mixer, Float, and Captain. This position must be able to communicate with the Plant Manager and Administrative Assistants to ensure all tasks are being completed including scheduling needs. They must comply with all safety regulations, work rules, SOPs, and company policies. They also ensure the production facility meets all cGMP and safety standards by keeping the facility clean and maintained. May have to work overtime and weekends.
