Job Title: MSAT Senior Scientist

Job Description:

• As a Senior Scientist, you will be at the center of our operations and you’ll find that everything we do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality.
• As part of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) you will be responsible for process troubleshooting, process improvements and second-generation process development of Client's late-stage development and commercial biopharmaceuticals and vaccines.
• Through small scale process development and transfer to commercial stages, you will partner with manufacturing specialists for API and provide support for technology transfer to clients manufacturing sites and third-party facilities.
• Your innovative mindset will help us develop economical, efficient and safe active drug materials.
• You will be recognized as a technical expert and a scientific contributor. With your deep knowledge of discipline, you will be an active team member whose decisions impact the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6 years of experience in bioprocessing
• Knowledge and experience of mammalian cell culture, including fed-batch and perfusion bioreactor operations
• Demonstrated experience in interpretation of analytical data to drive experimental plans and ability to utilize electronic tools to document information
• Technical knowledge and skills in aseptic bioreactor operation and associated analytical methods
• Knowledge of biologics achieved through industrial or academic experience in research and development, technical operations, manufacturing, etc.
• Strong initiative and good problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
