Title: Production Associate - 2nd Shift
Duration: 8 Months Contract (Temp to perm and possibility for extension)
Location: St. Louis, MO
Shift: 2p - 10:30P
Must have:
Background in chemical or any kind of food manufacturing Industry.
High School Diploma Required
Preferred:
packaging and labeling experience, SAP or any kind of ERP system experience.
We currently have an opening for a Production Technologist I on 2nd Shift. This position s main responsibilities are to set up machines to order specification for bottling. Fill and label products to order specification. Clean and sanitize equipment between orders. Strict attention to good manufacturing practices and plant safety and sanitation policies.
Job Responsibility
- Accurately weigh, pack, and label orders according to work order specification.
- Follow work order instructions and operating procedures accurately.
- Ensure equipment and work area readiness and cleanliness in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Must be able to operate department pumps, filters, scales and computer systems in order to perform work tasks.
- Maintain safe work area using necessary equipment to prevent accidents.
- Provide product samples for quality analysis
- Monitor and report inventory variances of ingredients
- Other duties as assigned
Profile
- Must have a high school education or equivalent
- Must be able to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting and physical work
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to learn to operate various equipment including filters, mixers, packaging equipment, and pallet jacks is required
