We are seeking a Manager to oversee clinical Quality Improvement!

Remote Position, Ohio

*The person selected for this position must reside in or adjacent to our 21 county service area.*

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. The Quality Improvement Manager will focus on optimizing the delivery of care, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing overall service quality across the organization.

The pay range for this position is $75,505.20 to $90,724.00 per year.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality improvement programs to enhance the overall quality of patient care, treatment outcomes, and operational processes.

  • Work collaboratively with Managing Director, Behavioral Health Performance in developing and managing value-based contracting and initiatives to optimize reimbursement models and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Lead and coordinate quality improvement projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

  • Design and oversee data collection methods and analysis to assess performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Establish and monitor quality benchmarks and performance indicators, developing reports and presenting findings to senior management.

  • Facilitate continuous quality improvement by implementing evidence-based practices and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and identify areas for further enhancement.

  • Collaborate in the development of and participate in facilitation of training programs to staff to ensure an understanding of quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Serve as the point of contact for quality-related inquiries and work closely with Compliance Manager related to regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies.

  • Stay abreast of developments in quality improvement, participating in professional development activities and continuing education.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as healthcare administration, public health, nursing, psychology, or social work; master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality improvement, performance management, or related healthcare administration roles, preferably in a behavioral health setting.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission), and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data to drive decision-making and process improvement.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and facilitate meetings and workgroups.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and engage staff in quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.

  • Knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities, clinical documentation standards, and best practices in behavioral health care delivery.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health record systems.

  • Certification in quality improvement (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - CPHQ) preferred.
