Duties/Responsibilities
- Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
- Gather information form subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success.
- Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials.
- Plans writing processes and set timelines and deadlines.
- Gather feedback and audit existing documents to ensure accuracy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
- Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
- Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience in working to improve user experience (ex. design, UI) refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in English, Technical Writing, Journalism, Communication, Business Administration, or relevant technical field required.
- 1-2 years of related experience required.
