Primary Responsibilities: Handle outbound and inbound sales requests to existing agents and their staff by telephone and e-mail. Provide sales support and case consultation to agents regarding potential sales opportunities. Maintain and update agent information in company database. Assist agents throughout the sales cycle until they are paid including help with licensing, contracting and new business assistance. Maintain contact with agents/staff through outbound follow up calls on product quotes, illustrations, and materials sent to agents/staff. May assist with outbound calls to promote Brokers International’s value proposition. Primary Skills & Requirements: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college plus one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior industry experience is preferred. Must have one year of phone sales experience. Iowa Insurance license required within 90 days.
