Job Responsibilities: The Compounding Assistant helps the Compounder in compounding solutions for production to use at the beginning of the shift, maintaining ointment levels in all production rooms, cleans holding tanks used to store and make the compounds, and helps wherever necessary to set up conveyors and systems for production. Empty all trash cans daily, wrap gauze tape, and run through the autoclave and boxes of pleats. Drain and clean the water baths as needed, and clean and wash all items, including pumps and hoses.
