Reports directly to the Food Safety Quality Assurance Team Leader and has the primary responsibility of overseeing all aspects of Bubbies Regulatory and Quality Compliance programs.

The Supply Chain & Quality Programs Specialist will lead and ensure training proficiencies and adherence to company policies and procedures. The Supply Chain & Quality Programs Specialist will serve as the primary Quality department representative with suppliers, regulatory agencies, & customers.

Primary Job Functions:

• Manage and maintain SOPs & QA program
• Manage customer compliance, requests, portals
• Manage product/company certifications (Kosher, Non-GMO, Vegan, GFCO)
• Oversee supplier quality program
• Assist R&D with formula management
• Manage Genesis/Trustwell system and provide nutrition and ingredient & allergen statements information to Marketing
• Review artwork/packaging for approvals
• Create product labels using BarTender
• Assist with all audits and ensure compliance
• Create & manage training program
• Lead food fraud vulnerability assessments and implement food fraud mitigation plan
• Oversee and approve ingredient and finished product specifications
• Oversee Quality data/KPIs and Tableau
• Lead GORP management (Strategic support)
• Advocates new quality policies and procedures for the FSQA team and Production to ensure high-quality products.
• Support Lab Trust Audit documentation

Qualifications:

• Experience in regulatory compliance for food manufacturers.
• Experience in quality assurance supply chain management.
• Experience with FDA food label compliance including nutrition panels and ingredient statements.
• Experience leading audits for various agencies such as FDA, SQF, GFSI, USDA, and/or others.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years in QA leadership in the food manufacturing field.
• PCQI, HACCP certified, Food Defense Training, and GFSI/SQF knowledge
• Prefer a 4 year undergraduate degree in Natural Science and Supply Chain Mgmt.
