Whether you're looking for a part-time or full-time commitment (minimum 20 hours per week), our year-round student program is designed to complement your full-time academic endeavors, all while working at our dynamic Rio Rancho campus.
Your exciting role as a computer engineer will include, but is not limited to:
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers to design automated solutions that focus on efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Partnering with other computer engineers to learn, train and apply best known methods for improvements.
  • Working with engineering customers to ensure that what is being requested or needed is aligned with the product being delivered.
  • Utilizing your background in coding and datamining to create customized queries and dashboards for modules.

Creative problem-solving skills and lateral thinking (the solving of problems by an indirect and creative approach, typically through viewing the problem in a new and unusual light) to help deal with the high level of ambiguity that is associated with the problems often encountered in the job role.
As you embark on your journey with us, you'll be required to work on-site, especially during your training period of approximately 6 months. Following your training, you'll have the chance to define a hybrid "work from home" arrangement with your manager, with the understanding that continued on-site presence will be essential. Full-time remote work is not available for this role.

QualificationsCandidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Academic excellence with a maintained minimum 3.0 GPA
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:
  • Machine learning
  • Generative models
  • Programming Language: Python, MATLAB
  • Database management: SQL, JDBC, MongDB
  • Tools: Power BI, GIT, Linux, Tableau
