Job Description

Come join us as a Module Equipment Technician and together let's grow and develop the next leading technology. We offer a compressed work week schedule where we work four days on with three days off one week.

The next week we work three days on and four days off.

This position for Fab 11X / Fab 9 includes shift openings on shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7.

At Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation (NM DMO) has several many exciting opportunities for growth at our Rio Rancho manufacturing facility.

Module Equipment Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including :

Operations, equipment maintenance, process, and training.

Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.

Responsible for running material in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.

Performs operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and / or assists in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.

In addition, the Module Equipment Technician is responsible for :

Improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.

May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.

Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.

High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral skills / traits :

Self-motivated, self-starter.

Verbal and written communication skills and comfortability presenting issues and solutions.

Skills to work well in a diverse team environment and ability to multi-task.

Skills to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

Skills to produce results in a timely manner. Time management ability to prioritize work and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Analytical problem solving and testing skills.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team (collaboration skills).

Evidence of the ability to train others.

Comfortable working in a factory environment on a regular basis.

Basic computer skills

This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.

Relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

The candidate must possess at least one of the following :

Associate's degree / certification in equipment focused program (including, but not limited to : Automotive Maintenance, HVAC, Mechatronics, and Aviation maintenance) OR

One of the following experience requirements obtained in the last 5 years :

Minimum 1 year semiconductor equipment maintenance experience OR

Minimum 2 years of military equipment maintenance experience OR

Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair in a professional capacity

Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day.

Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

This position is not open for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications :

Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance.

Knowledge of process control systems.

Experience with schematics and complex drawings / diagrams.
