Position Type : 13-Week Contract

Schedule : 6 : 45 AM - 3 : 15 PM, plus on-call duties

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR Tech to join our healthcare team in Mason City, IA, for a 13-week contract.

The ideal candidate will provide critical support during cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring the operating room is prepared and assisting the surgical team as needed.

This role requires technical expertise, precision, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.

Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures by passing instruments and supplies.

Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection.

Monitor and account for surgical instruments and supplies.

Provide patient care and support before, during, and after surgery.

Requirements :

National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Tech.

Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Additional Information :

Must be willing to participate in on-call duties.
