Role: Associate Scientist

Location: Abbott Park, IL

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Timings: 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Job description:

• Write and execute system related (i.e. hardware, software and /or assay) verification and or characterization protocols and support data package summaries in accordance with governing procedures
• Basic operation of instrument and repairs at customer replaceable level.
• Support basic troubleshooting across multiple system functions (hardware and software or hardware and assay performance problems).
• Apply quantitative methods, analyze data, evaluate results, form conclusion, and provide and implement improvements.
• Work well with others in a collaborative, goal-driven environment
• Maintain adherence to Quality System
• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system
• Education min.- BS degree in, biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or biomedical engineering.
• Experience min.- looking for some experience within Abbott.
• However, if not, entry level should be fine (fresh graduates).
