intellectt is Hiring a Corporate Sustainability Senior Manager Near Deerfield, IL
Location: Deerfield, IL (Remote okay, hybrid preferred once a week)
Duration: 5-month contract (with potential to extend)
This role will support global sustainability efforts for our business segments, manage emerging Corporate Responsibility (CR) needs, and deploy Baxter’s Global CR Goals. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance our sustainability practices and drive operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate CDP response and execute double materiality assessment.
- Liaise on sustainability projects, customer inquiries, and tenders.
- Recast 2030 corporate responsibility goals.
- Develop and implement Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) strategy.
- Communicate progress on sustainability efforts internally and externally.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years in Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility.
- 5 years in medical devices or pharma industry.
- Management-level experience.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel up to 20% regionally and occasionally globally.
- Ability to drive sustainability initiatives and influence senior leaders.
- Experience representing companies at industry forums.
- Knowledge of EU environmental policy and legislation.
- Qualified EMS auditor or experience in environmental audits.
