Job Title: Electrical Equipments Test Engineer / Technician Location: 1156 S Airport Rd, Phillips, WI 54555, USA
Employment Type: On-site (ITAR site, requiring Green card holder or US citizen)
Required: Only GC or CitizenExperience Required: Minimum of 1-2 years in Manufacturing/Medical Devices/Mechatronics/Electrical
& Vision Systems like Cognex/Keyence
Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to all customer General Quality Agreements, General Quality Requirements, and specified standards.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize process flow within work cells and design ergonomically correct workstations.
  • Automation Support: Implement and maintain automation in production, including robotics and vision systems.
  • Equipment Design: Design new equipment and processes for new products or improve existing ones in collaboration with equipment vendors and customers.
  • Problem Solving: Employ effective problem-solving techniques using creative, critical thinking, collaboration, and data-driven methods.
  • Documentation: Prepare written protocols, reports, and engineering documentation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and participate in equipment design reviews with Engineering, Automation, and Maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment concepts.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing: Lead FAT at vendor locations, ensuring equipment meets specifications and resolving performance gaps.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing tools to minimize waste and process variation, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Innovation: Develop innovative approaches to new assembly processes.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience involving project management, troubleshooting, and innovation.
Experience
  • Hands-on experience with process development for manual and semi-automated assembly.
  • Minimum of 1-2 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in Medical Device or Electronics industries.
  • CAD experience.
  • Experience with PCBA handling and testing.
  • ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training.
  • Background working in an assembly environment overseeing automation in production departments, including robotics and vision systems.
Must Have SkillsEffective communication with internal and external customers.
Experience in PCBA and ESD testing.
Experience with Vision Systems.
Note: This position requires a Green Card holder or US citizen due to ITAR regulations.
