Location: Lake Forest, IL - 60045
Duration: 06 Months on W2
Shift: 07:00 AM to 4:00 PM
NoteResource to be on-site 5 days per week in either Lake Forest, IL (preferably) or St. Paul, MN
Job DescriptionThe project involves developing ETL pipelines within an Azure architecture to build data models for supply chain and operations.
This includes: Building out data for purchase orders, sales orders, deliveries; Working with data pulled from SAP and currently in BW (Business Warehouse); Architecting solutions across tables and building Power BI models for consumers.
Core engineering work to develop ETL pipelines.
Strong engineering and SQL coding skills.
Strong understanding of SAP, including the ability to communicate limitations and recommend alternatives. Extensive experience in SAP tables and their relationships.
Extensive SAP modeling skills.
Effective communication skills to interact with business stakeholders.
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Data Flow, Databricks, or Spark is required.
Familiarity with Power BI, although the role does not involve visualization tasks.
Day-to-day Responsibilities: Architect and develop ETL solutions across various tables; Participate in meetings to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions; Communicate with business stakeholders to explain limitations and recommend alternative solutions based on SAP data architecture.
Several years of experience with SAP and developing ETL pipelines.
Preferred candidates will have a strong IT background with engineering and development experience.
Education And Level Of ExperienceMinimum bachelor's degree in engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience. But this is a very senior-level role and the right candidate must have all desired skill sets.
Will also consider candidates with 15 to 20 years of experience.
