Location: 605 North 5600 West, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, 84116
Duration: 12 MonthsDescription:
- Scientist (Analytical chemistry and/or in vitro biological testing)
- Work hours: M - F day shift. Flexible hours
- Onsite daily
- Scientist 1 position. Has a preference for candidates with hands-on chemistry, wet lab, bio lab or analysis experience / relevant degree
- All candidates should have a bachelor's degree, and the specific degrees are called out below.
- Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products. Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing
- Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biology work using instruments in the lab.
- Execute technical and cross-functional project work
- Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
- Coordinates and supports maintenance activities of lab as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science.
- Experience / understanding of working in a lab. Lab work experience a strong plus.
- Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to learn
