Role: Planner/Buyer Analyst
Location: Draper, UT - 84020
Duration: 9 Months
Shift Timings: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST
SummaryJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated Buyer to join our team and manage the purchasing of machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services essential for our operations. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production processes and timely procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Manufacturing Production Plans based on Master Production Schedules and Project Team requirements.
- Address issues such as non-conforming materials, equipment availability, and unplanned requirements.
- Analyze resource availability and create short- and mid-range capacity plans.
- Generate and manage work orders using our Manufacturing Enterprise system.
- Collaborate with production, quality, microbiology, engineering, and other departments to meet production goals.
- Experience in a medical device or regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management programs (e.g., JIT/Kanban, Min/Max).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related business field.
- 2-4 years of finance-related experience.
