Location: Buffalo Grove, IL - 60089
Duration: 12 Months on W2
- 100% Onsite role.
- Expertise in machine vision platforms such as Cognex Insight.
- Knowledge of optics, lighting techniques, and interaction with PLC or HMI systems.
- Experience in metrology, part presence inspection, barcode reading, etc.
- 100% Onsite position at Flex Grove, Illinois.
- Focus on high-speed automated inspections during the assembly process.
- Limited travel within the US, possibly less than 10%.
- Familiarity with automation and machine vision algorithms.
- Open to candidates with relevant industry experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or automotive sectors preferred.
- Day-to-day Responsibilities: Programming and optimizing machine vision inspections; Analyzing and diagnosing inspection results; Collaborating with local engineering teams to prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in machine vision.
- Six Sigma Belt Greenbelt or equivalent certification desirable.
- Proficiency in machine vision platforms, particularly Cognex Insight.
- Strong understanding of optics, lighting techniques, and PLC/HMI systems.
- Experience in programming and optimizing machine vision algorithms.
