Develop and implement assembly processes in line with Caterpillar standard processes
Provide analysis to drive to root cause and/or determine improvements, and lead projects to develop and implement solutions
Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements
Procure material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers
Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements
Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities
Position’s Contributions To Work GroupProvide manufacturing support to engine builds/testing
Typical Task BreakdownStandard work, tooling design, tooling orders, BIQ walk backs
Interaction With TeamTeam environment, working with mechanics and technicians
Strong interpersonal skills
Work EnvironmentLab/Office environment
Education & Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology. Any amount of experience will be considered with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.
Will accept non degree candidates, must have engine experience with 5 years related experience. H.S. Diploma and GED candidates will be considered.
