Role: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Wheeling, IL
Duration: 12 months on W2
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the team in all aspects of molding.
- Oversee low- to high-volume production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in molding processes, languages, and tools, contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of molding processes into overall project management.
- Take ownership of project execution, from concept to completion, with a focus on process validation and quality assurance.
- Develop and optimize internal processes related to molding
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role with a focus on plastic injection molding.
- Mechanical background with a strong understanding of molding processes, languages, and tools.
- Proven experience in project management within a medical device manufacturing environment.
