Responsibilities
- Support equipment commissioning, validation, and handover to operations.
- Participate in manufacturing line design, including RFPs, vendor engagement, and equipment integration.
- Implement and utilize Six Sigma methodologies for continuous process improvement.
- Experience with leak testing and Gas Diffusion Electrode Processes is a strong plus.
- Collaborate with the design team on equipment selection, industrial studies, and purchasing.
- Partner with the tooling and facilities teams to ensure proper equipment installation.
- Develop and maintain the Factory Plan of Record (FPOR) for efficient layout of manufacturing, material flow, and personnel movement.
- Utilize data analytics and modeling to optimize flow paths, aisle sizing, and space allocation for production lines and supporting functions.
- Lead cross-functional teams (manufacturing, operations, etc.) in developing and implementing material flow and layout metrics to enhance factory efficiency.
- Continuously analyze and optimize production flow, including inline and interline buffers/storage.
- Establish and optimize capacity specifications and targets (OEE and cycle times).
- Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and processes to optimize factory space utilization.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and provide world-class decision support to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, statistical software).
- Experience with CAD software a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
