- Lead process validation activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the internal engineering team and the CMO to ensure a smooth product transfer from R&D to commercialization.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the manufacturing process is efficient and meets quality standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to address issues that may arise during production.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including internal engineers and CMO staff, to ensure project timelines are met.
- Visit the CMO site in Minnesota for extended periods, with occasional travel to the client's location in Carlsbad, California.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- 5 - 6 years of experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on active implants being a significant advantage.
- Proven experience in process validation and transferring products from R&D to commercialization.
- Experience managing or working with Contract Manufacturers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to find solutions to support ongoing production.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
