Job DescriptionJoin us at Philips as a Mechanical Engineer II, where you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and verifying components and tooling for medical ultrasound transducers. Your role will encompass high-level and detailed design, ensuring compliance with business requirements, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with R&D, Product Industrialization, and operations teams to develop and enhance manufacturing processes, while maintaining thorough documentation and structured project reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design, check, and optimize components and tooling for medical ultrasound transducers.
- Develop high-level and detailed designs according to product and Philips reference architecture requirements.
- Combine existing and purchased elements into medical ultrasound transducers and manufacturing processes.
- Write verification plans, test, analyze, and verify design quality.
- Collaborate with R&D and operations to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
- Provide input for project planning and report progress methodically.
- Ensure documentation follows I2M process templates.
- Strong design and optimization skills for medical ultrasound transducers.
- Proficiency in high-level and detailed design following compliance and quality standards.
- Experience with verification plans and quality testing.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working with R&D and operations teams.
- Effective project management and structured reporting abilities.
- Familiarity with I2M process templates and documentation standards.
