- Packaging Engineer
- Working on New Product development project in SH.
- Designing and developing packages for new Abbott Products.
- Sourcing components and working with suppliers, conducting packaging design verification testing.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, OPerations team. Must have strong communication skills
- Med device engineering experience is required preferable in packaging but open to quality, R&D, and Operations as well.
- Previous Abbott packaging exp in Structural heart or Electrophysiology division is strongly preferred.
- Take initiative and meet project timeline.
- Good technical writing skills are needed.
- Design verification experience.
- Day to Day: Responsible for packaging design, communication with the R&D team and gathering inputs of the products; taking it to external packaging suppliers and explaining what needs to be done, providing input to timelines, running change orders; once the package is developed then writing reports and protocols
