Location: 1329 West North Avenue Holdrege NE 68949
- Targeting 5 years currently holding a Plant Manager role.
- This person needs to be responsible for currently managing a similar size number of workers and size of company structure/facility.
- Responsibility of site will be 500 employees (With approximately 9 direct reports) - - 250 employees is the threshold when searching – but they would like to see people currently at that 500 headcount.
- Bachelor’s degree is REQUIRED – NO EXCEPTIONS. (Preferred in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering but will be open.)
- The manufacturing site is plastic injection mold. (64 plastic molding machines, 16 assembly lines and approximately 3 assemblers per molding machine) That experience is needed.
- This individual needs to have experience with delicately, yet successfully driving positive change as a LEADER in the organization. (*There has been several org changes at this site and they need someone with a collaborative and innovative mindset)
- They are looking for an INNOVATIVE LEADER that will get employees onboard and accepting of change
- client needs a Leader that does not force people to believe in a new culture or to abide by what is being preached, but to identify a person that employees truly believe in what this leader is saying and choose to support and to follow
- This person needs to have an open mind with other leaders. (There are several new heads to each of the departments – so they need to be willing to work and come up with strategies together
- They need to have proven experience and examples of them being with a recent company that went through major changes and how they successfully lead and carries out the positive changes that lead to success. (Examples are huge and needed)
- goal is to improve employee happiness, growth and retention
- client is working to build a culture that people want to go to work at and that enjoy their job and believe and trust in the leadership team that are building the path of innovation and success
- Experience is HIGHLY preferred to be in the medical device industry. However, the second choice would be in the automotive industry due to the criteria of regulations. Food industry would be the third choice
- Areas of responsibility and change management: Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost.
