Process Engineer
- 8-5 Temp to Perm possibility responsible for process capability, cost reduction, and continuous improvement project implementation within their designated manufacturing unit.
- Provides specific engineering work related to the field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected.
- Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation
- Ensures compliance with client quality systems, policies, procedures, and best practices, and all local, state, federal, and Client safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.
- Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
- Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
- Coaches associate on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
- Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
- Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
- Ensures the safety of all associates and the quality of the product.
- Ensures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives.
- Ensures equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
- Analyzes the current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.
