Job Description:
What You’ll Work On
- Lead the sourcing and supply chain aspects of new product development in collaboration with
- program managers, R&D, Design Assurance, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory and other
- functional groups throughout the NPI process.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Strategic and Tactical procurement for supplier strategies and to
- operationalize procurement activities through development builds and commercialization.
- Negotiates complex Design, Development Agreements, Statements of Work and assist with terms
- leading to commercial Supply Agreements.
- Leverages core business systems (SAP) and various software technologies to provide continuous
- improvements.
- Drive initiatives for development and redesign of processes that optimize carrying cost, operational
- cost, obsolescence cost, and service levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or related field.
- Progressively responsible experience in materials management/purchasing.
- 7 years’ experience working in a highly regulated environment and proven familiarity with applicable
- regulations.
- 5 years’ experience working with MRP, DRP, ERP, forecasting, inventory management within SAP or
- similar system software.
- Experience leading cross functional projects and teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters' degree preferred.
- Experience negotiating complex contract terms with vendors, suppliers and contractors.
- New Product Introduction within medical device or related industry experience is preferred.
