- Conduct mechanical testing and develop test methods for catheters and sheaths
- Analyze data to determine if current fixturing and tooling are adequate, suggesting improvements when necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product design and development
- Provide technical insights and documentation throughout the early phases of R&D
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the medical device industry
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D engineering
- Proficiency in early-phase product development and design, with proof-of-concept experience
- Hands-on experience with data collection and analysis
- Strong skills in mechanical testing and test method development
- Solid understanding of mechanical structures and systems used in medical devices, such as catheters
- Knowledge of fixturing and tooling design
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
