Title : Software Verification Engineer (Medical Device) - Must to have : Python, JavaLocation: Palo Alto, CAJob SummaryJoin our team as a Software Verification Engineer to ensure the reliability and compliance of software in medical devices. Utilize your expertise in testing methodologies and regulatory standards to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans and scripts based on software specifications.
- Document and report test results, including defects and reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to understand requirements and functionality.
- Ensure testing complies with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of software testing experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Proficiency in Python and Java for test automation.
- Experience with testing tools (e.g., ClearQuest, Jama) and regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
