- Warehouse Operations: Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff. Conduct performance evaluations, manage work schedules, and address personnel-related issues.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse processes, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished goods.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Baxter's internal policies, Federal Trade Zone regulations, and other relevant standards. Act as the primary point of contact for warehouse audits.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the warehouse department's budget, maintaining cost control without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee transportation and distribution operations, working with third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Experience: At least 5 years in warehouse operations or a similar field, with a proven history of team leadership.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, effective communication and presentation abilities, and a strategic mindset. Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships across various levels of an organization.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with a focus on achieving results and continuous improvement.
- Technical Competence: Proficiency with warehouse management software and a strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
