We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and manage projects for our fintech consulting company. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to deliver successful fintech solutions and consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of fintech industry trends and technologies

We are looking for someone with the below skills:

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, requirements, and deliverables for fintech consulting engagements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor project teams consisting of developers, analysts, consultants, and other specialists to achieve project milestones, goals, and quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment, encourage knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, progress reports, and managing expectations related to project timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements, discuss project status, and ensure alignment with client objectives and business goals.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential issues early in the project lifecycle, and develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation procedures.
  • Proactively address challenges, conflicts, and obstacles to keep projects on track and achieve successful outcomes within agreed-upon constraints.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and quality standards (e.g., fintech security protocols, data privacy regulations) throughout project delivery.
  • Conduct regular project reviews, testing, and quality assurance checks to validate deliverables, identify improvements, and maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Manage project changes, scope modifications, and client requests through formal change control processes, documenting impacts, approvals, and updates as needed.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk registers, lessons learned, and post-project evaluations for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with fintech industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and market dynamics relevant to project engagements and client needs.
  • Share insights, thought leadership, and industry knowledge within the organization, participate in professional development activities, and contribute to innovation initiatives.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience (typically 5 years) as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or similar role in fintech, banking, or financial services industries.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of fintech solutions, digital banking, payment systems, blockchain, cybersecurity, or related technologies.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and tools like JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project for project planning and tracking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, executives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards, with a focus on client satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management practices, and security protocols relevant to fintech consulting projects is highly desirable.
