Job Description:
You will provide HR Service Delivery design, advisory, and support to clients in the US, Canada, and Brazil, with a focus on onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, events, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver HR operational tasks efficiently with high service standards, including but not limited to:
- Onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and assignments.
- Payroll processing, benefits administration, and workers' compensation.
- Supporting internal events and preparing reports as required.
- HR queries and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to process HR invoices and contracts.
- Administer benefits and workers’ compensation processes, ensuring timely policy renewals and compliance.
- Conduct audits of benefits packages and policies for compliance.
- Identify process pain points and suggest alternative solutions to the Team Leader.
- Support process improvement initiatives and company activities.
- Develop effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors for seamless operations.
- Ensure consistency in HR service delivery on a daily basis.
- Maximize teamwork effectiveness by supporting the Team Leader and team members.
- Step beyond role responsibilities to identify workarounds and solutions for challenges.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ HR operations experience.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (native level required) for effective communication with teams in China.
- Strong communication skills and accountability in delivering tasks.
- Reliable, stable, and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent analytical skills for evaluating benefits programs and making informed decisions.
- Proactive and autonomous, with a solid understanding of general HR policies, work visa procedures, and best practices in APAC countries.
- Flexible to work 3 days on-site in Sunnyvale, CA (potentially increasing in the future).
- Willingness to work occasional overtime to collaborate with teams in China.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, event coordination, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
- Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
