Job Title: Paralegal/Legal Operations Coordinator
Location: Austin, TX (3 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Job Responsibilities
- Processing third-party requests, including contractual liens, tax levies, and subpoenas.
- Responding to inquiries from Client's members regarding third-party requests.
- Ability to utilize Client's systems to research member accounts and take necessary account actions.
- Tracking service metrics and reporting to managers on volume trends.
- Supporting case teams with account research.
- Working cross-functionally with other business units and legal groups (privacy, finance, collections) to effectively carry out responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
- Understanding internet marketplace is a plus.
- Knowledge of legal terminology.
- A high level of integrity commensurate with handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Internally motivated to excel, ability to work with minimal supervision, and ability to “supervise up” as necessary.
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow in the role as circumstances require.
- Must be detail-oriented, able to balance multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
