Years of Experience:

• 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures?
• 4 years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of industry experience OR Master’s Degree and 1 years of industry experience

This role is expected to lead by example to earn the trust of your team and customers.

This role will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the Direct Tax Technology's business applications.

The candidate will gather business requirements from users and create specifications and develop code.

The solutions analyst will design and write codes to support existing applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Tackle tax technology challenges with scalable solutions delivered in a quick-and-nimble fashion

• Be trusted advisors to their R&C customers and engage on projects with high degrees of complexity and business criticality.

• Help define requirements, design, build, and roll out solutions.

• Work with stakeholders and manage the complexity of competing needs and timelines.

• Support customers through reporting and compliance cycles, mentoring, troubleshooting, and running processes as needed.

• Understand the solutions we have today, apply them where appropriate, and contribute to new capabilities when needed.

• Own particular processes and/or parts of our technology toolset, providing subject matter expertise and mentorship

• Listen to customers across the organization and expand our toolset to the benefit of all, avoiding point solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures?

• 4 years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

Additional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of industry experience OR Master’s Degree and 1 years of industry experience

• Excellent Coding Skills in: C#; Python; or Angular/TypeScript Web Development

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience working in AWS-based solutions

• Experience with SQL

• Excellent Data Analysis skills

• Experience in tax and/or financial systems and processing

• Direct tax modeling and process development experience with Excel and/or Python

• AWS Certified and/or other professional certification

• Dual major or advanced degrees (Accounting, Tax, MBA, or STEM)
