REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible
• Multi-threaded programming and distributed programming in Java or C on Linux.
• Experience must also involve JDBC, SQL, and Object-Oriented design and design patterns.
• Requires availability for 24x7 on-call support rotation.

• 8 years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 8 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

Primary responsibilities include developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (JAVA), performing queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, and updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges. Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems, and Operating a large container-based workload to deliver operational excellence while meeting/exceeding system SLAs (e.g. Availability, Latency).
NOTE: Candidate will be expected to be on rotation for the team 24/7 on-call support. What will this look like: The candidate will be expected to be on call for a week once every 8 weeks or so.

• They will need to be able to triage tickets with an hour of service or beyond. The on-call load is not very heavy.
