Key Responsibilities:

• Backlog Management: Create, refine, and delete work items in the team backlog to keep it organized, relevant, and progressively elaborated just in time.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Product Management, customers, and stakeholders to incorporate their needs into the backlog in clear, concise language.
• Priority Setting: Own the prioritization of work items at the team level, with some priorities inherited from the parent program backlog.
• Sprint Facilitation: Host and facilitate sprint reviews/demos and determine the appropriate attendees for each session.
• Compliance and Audit: Ensure required artifacts are produced and available for PMO memorialization for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordination: Represent the team in PO Sync to coordinate and communicate shifting priorities.
• Preparation for Program Events: Work with the Release Train Engineer, Product Management, and Scrum Master to prepare the team for program-level events such as PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt, and system/PI demos.
• Backlog Readiness: Ensure there is enough “ready” backlog to sustain team planning every two weeks.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of hands-on Product Owner experience, preferably in the Web/eCommerce space.
• Agile/Scrum Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proven experience as a Scrum Master. Certifications like PMI-ASCP, CSPO, and SAFe (POPM) are a plus.
• Technical Exposure: Familiarity with multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Leadership and Facilitation: Effective ability to lead and train teams through sprint planning, retrospectives, and facilitation within an enterprise environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong analytical, technical, planning, and organizational skills.
