IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Sulfate Dryer Operator - Night Shift! DIRECT HIRE!
Starting Hourly Rate of Pay for the Sulfate Dryer Operator is $24.50 per hour.
Hours for the Sulfate Dryer Operator are Monday through Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:00am.

Essential Functions for the Sulfate Dryer Operator Include:

• The Dryer Operator is responsible for running the Dryer Department in an efficient and productive manner.
• Ensure all incoming products are measured to meet finished product specifications and quantities.
• Collaborate with Bagging Department to ensure sampling of products, correcting any issues, and providing support.
• Maintain dryer settings to ensure all products are within specifications.

Minimum Required Education and Experience For the Sulfate Dryer Operator Include:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous machine operator experience, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and be a licensed forklift operator.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift as needed, enter and exit heavy equipment.
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions.
• Directs Utility Operator to haul additional raw material when feed hopper is low.
• Services and performs primary maintenance on plant equipment. Assists maintenance on major breakdowns when possible.
• Cleans out dryer and recycles material in the case of production upsets.
• Keeps plant in neat, workable condition.
