Amata's goal is to ease business pain points for lawyers and professional service organizations, allowing them to focus more on helping clients. Services include live reception and new client intake, on-demand legal support featuring senior paralegals specializing in different areas of legal practice, scalable law office space, and remote work programs.

Role Description

This is a position for someone who is a go-getter and would enjoy learning about our clients to be able to offer assistance and expertise. This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal or Legal Assistant. This person will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, document review, and communicating with clients and lawyers. They will work closely with senior paralegals and attorneys.

Ideal candidates possess the following skills:

· Provide support to specialized practices requiring excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills

· Maintain the highest degree of professionalism and customer service approach in dealing with clients, visitors, callers, and firm individuals

· Have the ability to exhibit flexibility – willingness to work on new tasks and pivot to other priorities as they arise

· Experienced with high-volume data entry

· Able to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision

· Deadline and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

· Draft and file legal documents, correspondence and pleadings

· Coordinate and manage Fee Agreements

· Perform Docketing for upcoming appeals

· Conduct research to support client appeal filings

· Assist attorneys with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents

· Assist in drafting, managing, and organizing various real estate transaction documents, schedules and exhibits

· Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

· Complete other tasks and projects as assigned

· Review title, survey, and other third-party reports and diligence documents to summarize for transactions team

· Interface directly with title company, surveyors, and other diligence vendors

· File and track corporate entities

· Experience in personal injury litigation and using a personal injury client database software

· Trusted to maintain confidentiality Previous Legal Assistant experience

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Familiarity with legal software and technology
