Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking an experienced candidate to join our ICE event marketing team in the U.S. ICE hosts and participates in conferences, webinars and our own unique hosted forums that attract top corporate leaders from around the world. The position will plan and execute digital and in-person events across the US. The role will have a strong focus on hosted event creation and event management with the objective of delivering compelling content and smooth execution to internal and external audiences. The candidate will successfully interact with internal and external constituents at all levels, including C-level executives, with the ability to champion event strategy and recommendations. Attention to detail, positive attitude, the ability to manage within a high demand environment with multiple deliverables and a focus on execution and results are a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute logistical and operational aspects for digital and in-person events
• Maximize ICE brand across all events.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, manage and execute events across the company.
• Assist with the negotiation and contracts with event venues, hotels, caterers/restaurants, audio visual vendors, etc. in conjunction with procurement. Ensure maximization of value across all events.
• Work closely with the teams at the New York Stock Exchange for ICE hosted events.
• Partner with Growth Marketing, Social and Content Teams to repurpose content and help extend the life of events.
• Understand cross-company business objectives to help establish and maintain strong event marketing presence.
• In collaboration with the marketing team, manage and maintain event marketing budgets and closely manage expenses for events.
• Partnership and collaboration with business units and external parties through transparency and constant communication, as well as timely responses to all inquiries and requests.
• Identify and communicate areas for improvement including process and cost efficiencies and strategic alignment across departments.

Knowledge and Experience

• 10 years experience in corporate events management and webinar management either in-house or via an agency
• Bachelor’s degree
• The candidate should have a positive attitude and be a strong self-motivator
• Exceptional organizational skills; the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and approach based on specific audiences
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and as part of a cross-disciplinary team
• Demonstrated success with developing positive relationships with stakeholders
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. 

New York Base Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 130,000 - 170,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
