DescriptionBASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounting for all inbound and outbound movements.
- Responsible for keeping inventory records in accordance with individual customer requests.
- Enter all activities, as assigned, for calculating charges per the Terminal Service Agreements for billing, including direct moves.
- Prepare daily or weekly Product Accounting reports according to customer request in addition to the Monthly Stock Accounting reports.
- Prepare and enter all information necessary for customer billing systems on-site or through the Internet, in accordance with customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain any reports requested by management, to assist in ongoing knowledge and documentation of variations, instrument performance, gauging, etc. for continuous improvement.
- Provide the necessary information to guarantee complete and accurate billing.
- Track, analyze, and research variations per product movement.
- Notify supervisor/manager of variations exceeding limits in accordance with procedures.
- Process orders and the associated paperwork for daily activities.
- Making copies of necessary paperwork for distribution and filing as needed.
- Carefully review all (MVR) charges on all vapor use over 10 hours or with interrupt times for accuracy and correct, when necessary.
- Review the various reports listed below for any discrepancies and take appropriate action, as needed.
- Flare Log.
- Incident Report.
- Monitor variances on a daily basis.
- Research all variances over .50% and finding possible explanation and or resolution by working with the Operations and Traffic departments, inspection companies, and/or customers.
- Communicate with inspection companies, as needed, for possible rework and reconfirmation of a move.
- Communicate with Operations to gain accurate and/or up-to-date information for proper documentation and accountability on a timely basis any gauges and/or moves not properly documented.
- File all relevant paperwork manually or electronically, in accordance with the current procedure.
- Responsible for ethanol moves and TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco, Tax and Trade Bureau) requirements, as assigned by the DSP Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with J.D. Edwards, SAP or other ERP systems, all Microsoft Office software, use of the Internet, and ten-key calculator.
- Good skills in analysis and problem solving.
- Strong organizational, decision making, and communication skills.
