Intercool USA is Hiring an Assistant, Compressor Shop Near Pottstown, PA
Assistant, Compressor Services Scope of Responsibilities: The Compressor Service Assistant is responsible for supporting all tasks required by the Compressor Service Director to ensure efficient operation of the division. This position is responsible for generating quotes, scheduling shipments, ordering parts and maintaining inventory and administrative functions as required.

- Proposals:
- Estimate cost, determine sell price and prepare written proposal.
- Maintain Quote Log with all current information, including revisions, wins, losses and cancellations.
- Understand compressor models and how to identify necessary parts.
- Ensure parts pricing is current with continued communications with suppliers.
- Utilize supplier’s portals for pricing.
- Utilize supplier’s portals for ordering parts.
- Rebuilds:
- Open WO’s in company ERP system.
- Coordinate with customers and service team for schedule.
- Arrange and track shipment of compressors.
- Create PO’s and order necessary parts and service from sub-contractors.
- Identify any additional parts required by technicians.
- Shop Operations
- Maintain shop inventory.
- Place PO’s for consumables.
- Report Technician hours.
- Support:
- Any task as deemed necessary by the director to support operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with MS office with a good understanding of Excel in particular.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
