Seeking a dedicated and compassionate School QMA - Personal Attendant to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive rate of $22 per hour. As a School QMA - Personal Attendant, you will provide essential medical care and support to a student, ensuring their safety and well-being during the school day. This individual contributor role requires a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Support student with ADLs throughout school day
• G-tube care and management
• Complete oral suction as needed
• Communicates with student in an appropriate manner
• Support classroom and building as needed within an Instructional Assistant role under the supervision of Staff

Requirements:

• Certified QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) with a current license in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 1 year of experience administering medication in a healthcare or educational setting
• Knowledge of state regulations and protocols for administering medication to students
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to handle potentially stressful and emergency situations with composure and discretion
