Job Summary:

:Interim HealthCare is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU, Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is a full time contracted position with a pay rate of $52 per hour with night shift availability. You must have 2 years of recent and relevant experience.

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about the care plan and effectively communicate any changes or updates.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
