Job Summary:

Interim HealthCare, is seeking a talented Med Surg/Tele, Registered Nurse for a great hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is a full time contracted position with a pay rate of $45 to $54 per hour with both day and night shift availability. You must have 2 years of recent and relevant experience. 
Candidate must live at least 50 miles from facility.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay of $45 - $52 per hour.

- Paid weekly

Responsibilities:
• Assess, develop, and implement patient care plans based on individualized needs.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical history of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments, and assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and care in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards and protocols.
Requirements :
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
