Director of Nursing (RN) - Full-Time

Location: Long-Term Care Facility in Elk River, MN

Schedule: Full-Time, Dayshift, M-F. Every 6th weekend on-call rotation.

Pay: Starting at $120,000/year depending on experience.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to join our team. The Director of Nursing will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for our nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department, including hiring, training, and performance management of nursing staff
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care and ensure continuity of care
• Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
• Manage departmental budget and resources effectively to optimize operational efficiency
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred but not required
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota
• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
• Strong understanding of long-term care regulations, reimbursement systems, and quality improvement processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to effectively manage a team and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care to residents and their families
• Previous experience using Point Click Care (PCC) charting system preferred
