School Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
in Prince George County, VA

Step into a nursing role within Prince George County school system where you play a hands on role with making a difference in children’s lives everyday!
Shift time required- School hours!
MUST be available between 7:30 am and 3:45 pm.
This position will float between all the school clinics in Prince George County and also work one on one cases as needed.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities under the supervision of an RN
• Work with a team of LPN, and RN to take care of the everyday clinical needs of the children
• Assist RN school nurse with documentation of clinics intake
• Administer medication when needed

A few must-haves for Licensed Practical Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in VA
• Minimum of 6 months of LPN experience
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
