Interiors Home Decor & More in Sudbury, MA is looking for one retail salesperson to join our 10 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.
JOB SUMMARY
- *Contribute actively to the store sales, by providing a remarkable service to all, supporting the management team, and representing the brand and image *Be accountable for store operations, such as stock control and inventory management, as well as maintaining a clean store environment *Be responsible for opening, closing, and accurately perform cashier duties - handling cash and credit card transactions with precision, while following company policies and procedures *Educate all customers in a thoughtful way about all company operations, including our Home Staging and Design business and Vacation Rentals *Gather and properly record customer feedback, provide insights for impactful growth opportunities *Network in the community to drive sales and traffic to the boutique *Must be able to work weekends, some holidays and occasional evening hours *Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, perform multi-level store operations *Must be at least 16 years of age
We're looking for someone who:
- *Has a genuine passion for connecting with people and strong clienteling skills to be able to drive sales while forming positive relationships with every customer *Is able to talk knowledgeably about the products in the store as well as additional business activities *Has a friendly and helpful approach to our clients - someone who is social, open minded and optimistic *Has a strong market and fashion trend knowledge; a good general culture level *Is open to feedback and will communicate with managers in a clear and straightforward way *Has 1-3 years of previous retail sales experience, preferably in home goods or home furnishings *Knowledge of Square welcomed but not required
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $18.00/hour.
