Our client is dedicated to the banking and financial services industry, bringing extensive experience in trial courts, handling complex litigation involving mortgage fraud, predatory lending, breach of fiduciary duties, and regulatory violations. They are seeking a Banking and Finance Partner to join their Houston office and contribute to their ongoing success.

Responsibilities:

• Represent and defend banks and financial institutions in complex disputes, including lender liability, corporate trust violations, loan recovery, consumer finance, and regulatory litigation.
• Handle cases involving various issues such as lender liability, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract, preference litigation, fraudulent transfers, letters of credit issues, interest rate swap agreement litigation and real estate loans.
• Represent mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors in bankruptcy, default, and contested litigation.
• Advocate for financial institution clients before local, state, and federal administrative and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain and build client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and strategic legal guidance.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar.
• Extensive experience in banking and finance litigation, with a strong track record of success in handling complex disputes.
• Proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution, including trial experience.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
