Our client is seeking a talented Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity Associate to join their esteemed team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of cybersecurity, helping organisations manage and mitigate digital risks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide incident response and post-disclosure counsel, leveraging extensive experience from notable cases.
• Advise clients on implementing and maintaining “reasonable security” measures to prevent data theft and operational disruptions.
• Assist in the development of risk-based solutions to address dynamic cybersecurity risks across enterprise-wide operations.
• Coordinate with security firms to conduct red team exercises, penetration tests, compromise assessments, and security risk assessments.
• Provide legal counsel on authentication measures, payment acceptance, and loyalty programs for web and mobile applications.
• Support clients through litigation, regulatory inquiries, and post-incident technology security enhancement efforts.

Qualifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong technical knowledge in cybersecurity and data protection.
• Proven experience in incident response and cybersecurity advisory.
• Experience in conducting incident response training and developing incident response plans.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in cybersecurity.
