Our client, a premier legal firm, is seeking a highly qualified Labor and Employment Partner to join their Dallas office. Their team of employment and labor attorneys provide strategic and responsive legal counsel to a diverse range of clients. They offer expert guidance and litigation services to help their clients navigate workplace disputes and legal challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of employment and labor issues, including affirmative action plans, age discrimination, and arbitration.
  • Assist clients with compliance matters, confidentiality agreements, constructive discharge, and contract disputes.
  • Offer expert guidance on disability discrimination, drug testing, employee benefits, and executive compensation.
  • Manage employee discipline, corrective action, and termination procedures.
  • Advise on equal employment opportunity/discrimination issues and respond to charges and complaints filed with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Handle matters related to the Equal Pay Act, executive employment agreements, and genetic information non-discrimination.
  • Guide clients through hiring practices, restrictive covenants, immigration, and worksite enforcement.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar.
  • Extensive experience in labor and employment law.
  • Proven track record in handling complex employment litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing proactive and strategic legal advice to a diverse clientele.
